The Gusi Peace Foundation, a renowned organization based in the Philippines, has honored Rev. Pastor Jose Jean-Pierre with the Prestigious Gusi Peace Prize Internation.
This award, often referred to as the “Nobel Peace Prize of the East” in Asia, is bestowed upon only 15 individuals annually from various countries worldwide. Rev. Pastor Jose Jean-Pierre holds the distinction of being the first Haitian and first Haitian-American to receive this esteemed honor.
Typically, the honorees include heads of state, royalty, business magnates, diplomats, scientists and other individuals who have made significant contributions to peace. Rev. Pastor Jose Jean-Pierre will be required to travel to the Philippines in November 2025 to receive the award.
